All throughout A Course in Miracles there are references made to practicing forgiveness, but really getting what it means and how to do it is key if you want to reap the crazy-awesome benefits this transformational process offers.
This video addresses the unique version of forgiveness the Course teaches in Workbook lesson 134,
“Let me perceive forgiveness as it is.”
This shift from fear to love is what realigns us with our Divinity, our wholeness, our perfection. It enables us to see our brothers – and therefore ourselves – as innocent. We can’t see the light in us until we see it in them.
So what does ACIM mean by forgiveness and how do we do it?
This video explains how forgiveness works and what’s in it for us – and provides an example of the process.
As you engage in this practice you will notice that either the people and situations in your world will appear to change for the better, or they just won’t have the power to upset you like they once did.
Spoiler alert: Practicing forgiveness can significantly reduce both your painful experiences in this life and the number of serial lifetimes you have in the future!
